LESLIE
WILSON CRAIG
Leslie Wilson Craig, banker, was born in Fidelity, Illinois, on September 5, 1888, the son of Tunis H. and Lucy Elizabeth (Wilson) Craig. He received his education in the public schools of Jersey County, Illinois.
Mr. Craig began his banking career as clerk for the Central Savings Bank in Monroe, Louisiana, and continued with them until 1912. He was cashier for the Farmers State Bank in Medora, Illinois, from 1912 to 1919; assistant vice president of the National Stockyards National Bank, East St. Louis, Missouri, from 1919 to 1921; vice president of the American Trust Company, El Paso, Texas, from 1921 to 1922; assistant vice president of Security Trust and Savings Bank, Los Angeles, California, from 1922 to 1924 and vice president from 1924 to 1929 and director since 1946. He has also been president of Kings County Land and Cattle Company, Inc., Lemoore, California, since 1935.
Mr. Craig is a Democrat; belongs to the Methodist Church; and is a member of the California Club and Los Angeles Country Club.
On October 9, 1915, he married Nellie May Day. Their home is at 10369 Strathmore Drive, Holmby Hills, Los Angeles 24, California.
