GORDON B. CRARY
Gordon B. Crary, senior partner in E. F. Hutton & Company, is the son of Charles E. and Hattie (Hodgdon) Crary. He was born October 6, 1891, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Student at Harvard Military School, Los Angeles, California, 1909, and University of Southern California, Stanford University, 1911.
Mr. Crary was a partner with C. E. Crary & Sons, building construction and real estate, in Los Angeles, California, 1912 to 1917; in the brokerage business with his brother, Allan H. Crary, Los Angeles, 1917 to 1923; manager of E. A. Pierce & Company, Southern California, 1923 to 1928; senior general partner in E. F. Hutton & Company, with headquarters on the West Coast, since 1928.
Director of Brea Canon Oil Company, Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce (1944-1948), and Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. Allied member of the New York Stock Exchange.
Member of Stanford Associates; Kappa Sigma Fraternity; and the following clubs: Los Angeles Country, California, and Stock Exchange.
Mr. Crary married Beatrice Baker July 5, 1916, and they have two sons: Gordon B., Jr. and Bruce Patterson. They maintain homes at 450 Rossmore Avenue, Los Angeles 24, California, and 1515 East Bay Front, Balboa, California.
