RANSOM W. CHASE
Ransom W. Chase, attorney, was born November 21, 1904, in Los Angeles, California. The son of Lucius K. and Maria (Watkins) Chase.
His primary education was obtained from the public schools of Los Angeles; he then attended the University of California, graduating with the A.B. degree; studied law at Yale University and University of California, graduating from the latter with the LL.B. degree; admitted to the State Bar of California in 1929. Mr. Chase is in practice of the law in Los Angeles, California, as member of the firm of Chase, Rotchford, Downen & Drukker. He was formerly a member of the firm of Chase, Barnes & Chase. Since 1947 he has been director, from the City of Los Angeles, for the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California.
Member of the Los Angeles Bar Association, State Bar of California; University Club and the California Club, for of Los Angeles, California.
Mr. Chase married Virginia Sevier on May 9, 1931, and they have one son, Laurence Ransom Chase. The family home is in West Los Angeles, California, at 212 South Woodburn Drive
