ASA VICKREY CALL
Asa Vickrey Call, president of Pacific Mutual Life Insurance Company of Los Angeles, was born in Los Angeles, California, on October 28, 1892. The son of Joseph Harry and L’Dora Cecil (Vickrey) Call.
His preparatory education was received at the University of Southern California, 1910-14. Admitted to the California State Bar in 1914.
Mr. Call has been president of the Pacific Mutual Life Insurance Company, Los Angeles, California, since 1942. Also director and member of Executive Committee of the California Bank, and Gladding McBean &Company; director of Pacific-American Investors, Inc.; trustee and vice president of the University of Southern California.
Member of the American Bar Association; California State Chamber of Commerce (vice president and director); director and member of the Auto Club of Southern California. Republican.
Mr. Call married Margaret Fleming on May 23, 1917, and they have five children: Harry Asa, Thomas Fleming, Richard William, Edward Fleming, and Janet Alice. They live in Los Angeles, California, at 10451 Bellagio Road, Bel Air.
