PATRICK
JOSEPH BRADY
Patrick Joseph Brady, president and
general manager of West Coast Electronics Company, was born in Washington,
Indiana, August 13, 1891; the son of Patrick and Catherine (Sause)
Brady.
He received his education in the public
grade and high schools of East St. Louis, Illinois.
Mr. Brady was general manager of Peerless
Minerals Company, Ltd., of Arizona and California, 1923 to 1933; secretary,
treasurer and general manager of Interstate Aircraft & Engineering Corporation,
Los Angeles, 1934 to 1939; president and general manager of Pacific Aviation,
Inc., Los Angeles, 1939 to 1945; and has been president and general manager of
West Coast Electronics Company, Los Angeles, since 1945.
Mr. Brady served with the United States
Naval Aviation, 1917 to 1921; qualified mechanical expert in Ireland, France, Long Island and San
Diego.
He married Virginia Kirkpatrick March 4,
1938, and they have their home in Los Angeles, California, at 134 South Gunston Drive.
Mr. Brady is a member of Society of
Automotive Engineers; American Ordnance Association; College of Osteopathic
Physicians and Surgeons (trustee); American Legion; Veterans of Foreign Wars;
Disabled Veterans of America; Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce; and the
following clubs: Rotary Club of Los
Angeles (vice president), Elks, Jonathan and Beverly Hills.
