RUSH MAXWELL
BLODGET
It is characteristic of Rush M. Blodget, of Los Angeles, that he does with thoroughness anything which he undertakes, preparing his cases with minute attention to detail and examining all points which have a bearing on the matter at issue. He has been a member of the California bar for more than 20 years, and specializes in oil consultation, being Counsel for several oil companies.
Mr. Blodget is a native of the state of Pennsylvania, and was born in 1881 at Youngsville. When three years of age he was brought by his parents to Bakersfield, where he received his early educational training in public schools. He later entered Stanford University and engaged in the study of law, graduating with the LL. B. degree in 1907.
That same year Mr. Blodget was admitted to the California bar and entered practice at Los Angeles. In 1908 he became a member of the firm of Watkins & Blodget, which continued for a number of years. Since the dissolution of this association he has practiced individually, specializing in oil and municipal matters and earning a splendid reputation for ability and knowledge of the law in many phases.
Mr. Blodget holds membership in the State Bar of California, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Sons of the Revolution, Los Angeles Athletic Club, Masonic bodies and Delta Chi fraternity. He was married in 1911 to Beryl L. French, who passed away in 1924, leaving a son, Rush M. Blodget II. Mr. Blodget in 1926 was united in marriage to Ruth Deeds and they are the parents of one child, Arba Spencer Blodget.
