OSGOOD BARNES
Alfred Osgood Barnes, president and general manager of S. O. Barnes & Son, Inc., was born in Nashville, Tennessee, December 18, 1893; the son of Sewall O. and Martha LeVange (Mitchell) Barnes.
Vice president and treasurer of Barnes Laboratory, Inc. Proprietor of Barnes Emulsion Co.
During World War I served as sergeant with Field Artillery in U.S. Army.
Married to Anna Temple June 24, 1922. They have three daughters: Caroline, Joan, Martha.
Fellow American Association for the Advancement of Science; fellow American College of Pharmacists; member American Chemical Society; American Pharmaceutical Association; Institute Food Technologists; Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce (Drug Committee); Gardena Chamber of Commerce; American Legion.
