PAUL STUART ARMSTRONG

 

 

Paul Stuart Armstrong, general manager of Sunkist Growers, is the son of Harry C. and Blanche C. (Nott) Armstrong. He was born May 8, 1892, in Worchester, Mass.

      His education was obtained at Michigan State College from which he received the B.S. degree in 1915 and the D. Agr. degree in 1946.

      Mr. Armstrong’s entire career has been in association with the Sunkist Growers, Los Angeles, California (formerly California Fruit Growers Exchange), with whom he started in 1916, becoming advertising manager in 1921, assistant general manager in 1925 and general manager in 1931.

      Trustee of Pomona College, Los Angeles Orthopedic Foundation; member and former director of Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce and director of the All-Year Club of Southern California. He is a Republican.

      Mr. Armstrong holds membership in the University Club and Wilshire Country Club, Los Angeles.

      On August 21, 1916, he married Lucile E. Sherwood and has one son, Sherwood.
