Goethe School District

 

A small district was formed in 1910 between Franklin and Prairie Districts.  The next year Franklin Union District was formed from the Goethe and Franklin Districts.  There is undoubtedly an interesting explanation for this creation and merger.

It was noted in the register by Mrs. Rena Kramer that many of the students were hampered in their learning because English was not spoken in the home.
