ALBERT MILES PAUL

 

Albert Miles Paul, president of California Products Company, was born January 25, 1883 in Abilene, Kansas; son of Albion Howard and Mary Keturah (Lyons) Paul. He received his B.S. at University of California in 1909.

Mr. Paul was manager of the Hendrick Estate at Riverside, California, 1910 to 1911; manager of land department of Natomas Consolidated, Sacramento, California, 1912 to 1915; manager of La Hacienda Company, Los Angeles, 1916 to 1918; assistant general manager of Fruit Growers Supply Company, Los Angeles, 1919 to 1925; general manager of Sun-Maid Raisin Growers Association, Fresno, California, 1926 to 1928; and has been president and general manager of California Products Company, Fresno, California, since 1929.

Mr. Paul was appointed a member of a statewide executive committee of Industrial Salvage Section Bureau of Industrial Conservation, WPB, 1942. He is a member and director (1935-52) of Wine Institute; director (1937-39) and member of National Association of Manufacturers; vice chairman of Agricultural Cooperative Committee (1939-42), and member (board of governors) National Farm Chemurgic Council; and member of the California State Water Pollution Control Board. He is a Republican.

Member of Alpha Delta Phi Fraternity; and member of the following clubs: Bohemian, Rotary, and Sequoia-Sunnyside Country (Fresno).

Mr. Paul married Genevieve Buchanan on December 10, 1910 (died in 1918); one son, Albert Miles, Jr. His second marriage was to Julie Edith Henn on January 2, 1923; one son, John Paul.
