WILLIAM
EDWIN WALLACE
W. Ed.
Wallace, realtor, was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on May 27, 1900; the son of
Will S. and Clara I. (Chambers) Wallace.
His preparatory education was
obtained at the University of California from which he graduated in 1922 with
the B.S. degree.
Mr. Wallace has been engaged in the
real estate business since 1924, in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties,
California, specializing in residential properties.
Mr. Wallace was a member of the
Board of Directors of Oakland (California) Real Estate Board from 1936 to 1937
and 1944 to 1951; president of Oakland Real Estate Board in 1947; vice
president of California Real Estate Association in 1947; president of
California Real Estate Association in 1949; vice president of National
Association of Real Estate Boards in 1950. In 1951, 1952 and
1953, a member of Executive Committee of National Association of Real Estate
Boards.
He holds membership in the Athens
Club of Oakland and the Diablo Country Club.
Mr. Wallace married Edith Bowring of
Salt Lake City, Utah, on January 25, 1928, and they have four children:
Kenneth, age 21; Clark, age 19; Nancy Claire, age 17; and Keith, age 12. The
family home is at 16 Bonita Avenue, Piedmont, California.
