MARSHALL
RICKSEN
Marshall
Ricksen, attorney, was born in Chicago, Illinois, on
December 19, 1907. He is the son of Samuel and Ingeborg
(Nielsen) Ricksen.
He received the A.B. degree from the
University of California in 1930. His legal education was obtained at the same
University where he received his LL.B. degree in 1934.
Mr. Ricksen
served as deputy district attorney for Alameda County, California, in 1935;
then assistant city attorney for Berkeley, California, in 1942; and has been
senior partner in the law firm of Ricksen, Freeman
& Johnson, Oakland, California, since 1943.
Member of Psi
Upsilon and Phi Delta Phi Fraternities; Alameda County
Bar Association; Athenian Nile Blub and Berkeley Tennis Club.
Mr. Ricksen
married Bertha Clymer on May 12, 1920, and has two sons (twins), John Clymer
and Rupert Hughes, born November 20, 1931. The family home is at 44 Alvarado
Road, Berkeley, California.
