HAROLD
HUOVINEN
Harold Huovinen, attorney, was born in Alameda, California, on
March 20, 1903. He is the son of John Peter and Matilda (Miller) Huovinen.
Both his preparatory and legal
education was obtained at University of California, from which he received his
A.B. in 1924 and his J.D. in 1926.
Mr. Huovinen
has been in practice of the law at Oakland since his admittance to the
California State Bar in 1926. He is director of Hospital Service of California,
San Lorenzo Homes Company, San Lorenzo Land Company, and others.
He holds membership in the Oakland
Chamber of Commerce; American Bar Association, State Bar of California, Alameda
County Bar Association (past president); and is president of the Legal Aid
Society. Member of the Athens Athletic Club and Athenian-Nile
Club, both of Oakland, California.
Mr. Huovinen
married Betty Crockett on June 22, 1929, and they have two children: Betty
Lynne and Harold Alan.
