LEROY R. GOODRICH
Leroy R. Goodrich, attorney, was born on January 3, 1887, in
He
graduated from Central High School of Buffalo in 1904; received his A.B. degree
from
Mr. Goodrich’s civic activities include his
having been a director of The Children’s Home Society of California since 1924, and its president for five years. From 1934 to 1944 he
was a member of the Board of Trustees of Mills College. Since 1930 he has been
a member of the Board of Trustees of Oakland Scottish Rite Scaife
Scholarship Foundation. From 1925 to 1927 he was commissioner of Public Works
of Oakland, and in charge of the development of the

Association and the State Bar of California; a member of Kappa Sigma and Phi
Delta Phi (legal) fraternities; a Scottish Rite Mason, and a member of Oakland
Lions Club.
