FRED A. FERROGGIARO
Fred A. Ferroggiaro, senior vice chairman of the Board of Bank of America N.T.&S.A., San Francisco, was born May 12, 1890, in San Francisco, California; the son of Natale and Anna (Guiasso) Ferroggiaro. He received his education in the public schools of San Francisco.
Mr. Ferroggiaro entered the employ of the Bank of American N.T.&S.A. at San Francisco, California, in 1906. From 1931 to 1940 he was vice president at the Oakland (California) main office; has been a director since 1940; was executive vice president of the bank from 1940 to 1949,; has been chairman of the General Finance Committee since 1944 and senior vice chairman of the Board since 1949.
He is also vice chairman of the Board of Directors of Bank of America (International), vice president of Corporation of America, and vice president and director of Merchants National Realty Company.
Member of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce; he is an Elk; Druid; Knight of Columbus; Roman Catholic; Republican; member of The Olympic Club, San Francisco, and the Claremont Country Club, Oakland. Regent, Saint Mary’s College of California.
Mr. Ferroggiaro married Delphine Lerda on August 1, 1916 and they have two children, Delphine (Mrs. E. Q. Reed) and Fred L.
