FRED L.
DOELKER
Fred L. Doelker, Pacific Coast manager, Johnson Line, W. R. Grace
& Co., General Agents, was born April 14, 1889, in Shasta County,
California, the son of Adam and Florence Doelker.
Mr. Doelker
is a retired vice president of Grace Line, Inc.; and he is actively serving as
Pacific Coast manager of the Johnson Line and is also manager of the
Stevedoring-Terminal Departments of W. R. Grace & Co.
He is a director in the Pacific
Maritime Association of the Pacific Coast; and is a director in the Swedish
Chamber of Commerce of the United States.
He is a member, and past president,
of the Propeller Club of the United States (Port of San Francisco); is a member
of the U. S. Army Transportation Club; honorary member Officers’ Club, U. S.
Army, Fort Mason, California; is a director of the St. Francis Yacht Club;
member of Claremont Country Club, Oakland; a member of the Bohemian Club; a
member of the San Francisco Commercial Club; a member of the Food & Wine
Society of San Francisco.
Mr. Doelker
holds the following decorations from the Swedish Government: Royal Order of Vasa First Class and Knight of the Order of the North Star,
conferred upon him for his work in promoting trade between the U. S. Pacific
Coast and Sweden.
Mr. Doelker
married Florence deHaven on September 22, 1915
(deceased); children: Mary Florence (Mrs. Robert E. Fisher); Fredrika Ann (Mrs. Lewis P. May); and Fred Louis Doelker, Jr.
