Biographies
CROZIER CORDELL CULP
Crozier Cordell Culp, attorney, was born in Rosedale, Wyandotte County,
Kansas, on July 6, 1897; the son of Lynn W. (attorney, died
October 31, 1937) and Ella (Crozier) Culp.
Attended
grammar school in Kansas City, Missouri, and Coeur d’Alene, Idaho;
graduated in 1915 from Coeur d’Alene (Idaho) High School; entered Stanford
University in September of 1915 and continued there until
April 12, 1917, when entered United States Navy; released from active
duty in Navy as ensign in September of 1919 and re-entered Stanford in October
of 1919 and attended there in College of Law until June of 1921; attended
University of Idaho Law School, September, 1921, and received the degree of
LL.B. in June of 1922; re-entered Stanford in October of 1922 and received the
J.D. law degree in June of 1923. Received the B.A. degree
from Stanford in 1920.
Mr. Culp
served as deputy in Legislative Counsel Bureau at
Member of
Beta Theta Pi Fraternity, Gamma Gamma Chapter,
University of Idaho; Durant Lodge No. 268, Berkeley, California,
F. & A.M.; American Legion, Berkeley Post No. 7; Veterans of
Foreign Wars, Emeryville, California, Post; East Bay Stanford Club; Lawyers
Club of Alameda County; Alameda County Bar Association, State Bar of
California, American Bar Association; and United States Naval Officers Reserve,
Volunteer Legal Unit.
Mr. Gulp
married Bethel Martin Collins on July 21, 1923 in
