ROBERT
L. BRIDGES
Robert
L. Bridges, attorney, was born May 12, 1909, in Altus, Arkansas. He is the son
of Joseph Manning and Jeffa Alice (Morrison) Bridges.
His reparatory and legal education
were obtained at the University of California from which he received the degree
of A.B. in 1930 and the degree of LL.B. in 1933; admitted to the State Bar of
California on November 15, 1933, at San Francisco, and to the Bar of the
Supreme Court of the United States, at Washington, D.C., on February 8, 1938.
Mr. Bridges began practice of the
law at San Francisco, California, in association with the firm of Thelen & Marrin, with whom he has remained. The firm is now known as Thelen, Marrin, Johnson & Bridges, of which he is a partner.
He holds membership in the State Bar
of California.
On June 10, 1930, Mr. Bridges
married Alice Marian Rodenberger and they have three
children: David Manning, James Robert and Linda Lee. The family residence is
Box 102, Route 1, Happy Valley Road, Lafayette, California.
