With deep sorrow and regret the members of the Directory Board of the Brotherhood of American Yeomen learned of the death of their brother and co-worker, Joseph H. Murphy. For full twenty years he had been officially connected with the society; a majority of these years in positions of great responsibility. As State Manager of Minnesota, he added thousands of members to our roster, raising that state to a high place of leadership in the jurisdiction.

His methods and business were clean, straightforward and honest. As a member  of the Board of Directors, he was considerate of the interests of the Deputy and the Society, and was ever kind to all with whom he came in contact. His services to the Society were great. He fought a good fight and has gone to his reward. We express our full appreciation of Brother Murphy as an official and friend. Our sincere sympathy goes to his bereaved children.

W. R. SHIRLEY, Chairman.

S. E. WILSON.
